About functional neurology

What is functional neurology?

Functional neurology looks at how well the nervous system is working, not only whether there is structural damage. At Strong Tower, we use an evaluation of eye movements, balance, coordination, reflexes, autonomic regulation, and proprioception to look at where the nervous system may be struggling, and build exercises around what we find. Read more on our What Is Functional Neurology? page.

Is Dr. Wright a neurologist?

No. Dr. Wright is a Doctor of Chiropractic with advanced training in functional neurology. See our About page for his training.

Does functional neurology replace seeing a neurologist or my doctor?

No. Our care is meant to be complementary to the rest of your healthcare. We may encourage you to see your doctor if something in your history or findings calls for it.

Can functional neurology cure my condition?

Outcomes vary from person to person. We tell you honestly what we think after your evaluation.

Your first visit

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. Your initial consultation is complimentary, with no fee to book and no obligation to begin care.

What happens at the consultation?

It is a conversation about your symptoms, your history, and your goals. See our New Patient Center.

How do I book?

You can book a consultation online at our booking page or call 770-767-3830. Appointments after your consultation are scheduled by our staff.
