Faith-Centered Care

Christian Chiropractor in Marietta, GA

Marietta has no shortage of chiropractors, but if you are looking for one whose faith informs his work, Strong Tower Functional Neurology in nearby Smyrna may be what you are searching for. We are a Christian chiropractic practice, and Dr. James Wright's faith in Jesus Christ is part of why he practices.

Faith at the Center of the Practice

Dr. Wright earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Marietta and later a diplomate in functional neurology through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. In his own story he writes that it is through Jesus Christ that he has "been continually guided, refined, and taught along the way," and that this foundation shapes how he cares for every patient. Read more on our faith-centered care page.

We believe true, lasting health comes from caring for the whole person, body, mind, and spirit, not just one symptom or tissue. Faith-centered care does not replace medical care. It is complementary, and we send you to your doctor or the emergency room for sudden or severe symptoms.

Your first consultation is complimentary. Care is one-on-one and private-pay.

What Care Includes

Dr. Wright is not a medical doctor, so our care focuses on conservative, hands-on and exercise-based support. NCCIH says spinal manipulation side effects are usually mild, such as temporary soreness, and serious complications are rare (NCCIH). We explain each technique and respect your choice. Services include:

A complimentary first consultation with Dr. Wright, a Doctor of Chiropractic

Chiropractic evaluation and, when they fit, chiropractic adjustments

A neurological evaluation of eye movements, balance, coordination, reflexes, autonomic regulation, and proprioception

Myofascial release, hands-on soft tissue work for tight or sore areas

Targeted exercises, built around what the evaluation finds

Guidance on nutrition, activity, and daily habits

Care shaped by Dr. Wright's Christian faith, with every patient welcome

Coordination with your other healthcare providers, with your permission

What We Hope to Support

Comfortable Movement

We examine your neck, back, and joints and design exercises and chiropractic care to support more comfortable motion. See our neck pain treatment in Marietta page for one example.

Relief From Tight Muscles

Where tension persists, slow hands-on work may help. Learn more on our myofascial release in Marietta page.

A Whole-Person Conversation

We listen to your story, including work, family, sleep, and stress, because pain rarely lives in one place.

Neurological Testing When It Is Relevant

For dizziness, headaches, or lingering symptoms after injury, we examine eye movement, balance, coordination, and reflexes. Soft-tissue work is also offered at our Smyrna office, and our myofascial release in Smyrna page describes it.
